Find out what room types, dining options, and extras await inside Disneyland Resort’s Pixar Place Hotel.

Pixar fans and Disneyland guests alike have an exciting new hotel option to consider: Disney’s Pixar Place Hotel. Featuring the beloved characters and incredible history of Pixar Animation Studios, this hotel is decorated and designed with touches from your favorite Disney and Pixar films from the very first –Toy Story – to more recent stories like Turning Red and Coco. If you’re looking for the perfect place to stay close to all of that Disneyland Resort magic, the Pixar Place Hotel is a great option, and this is your guide to what it’s like.

Below, we’re sharing everything you need to know about Pixar Place Hotel at the Disneyland Resort to help you decide if it’s the right fit for your next overnight stay.

What is Pixar Place Hotel?

Disneyland Resort’s Pixar Place Hotel might be the newest addition to the three on-property Disney hotels, but it’s actually not new at all! This hotel has been owned and operated by Disney since 1995, when it was purchased by the company and rebranded into the Disneyland Pacific Hotel. When Disneyland Resort expanded with the addition of Disney California Adventure Park in 2001, the hotel was reimagined and rebranded into Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel.

Now, after a multi-year reimaging, Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel is changing once again, this time into the Pixar Place Hotel. Pixar Place Hotel welcomed its first guests under its new name on January 30, 2024.

A Value-Rich Resort for Families

While Disneyland’s hotels aren’t broken into the same value, moderate, and deluxe categories that Walt Disney World’s hotels are, Pixar Place Hotel is essentially a comparable value resort option. As the most affordably-priced of Disneyland Resort’s three hotels, it’s a great option for families or those looking for a budget-friendly room.

Additionally, with more kid-friendly theming than the upscale Grand Californian Hotel and Spa, Pixar Place Hotel offers a number of perks for those traveling with younger guests. From character-themed rooms and touches throughout the resort to areas reserved for playtime and fun at every age, it’s a Disneyland hotel that suits little ones as well as adults.

Pixar Place Hotel also offers the same perks of staying on-site as you’ll get at Disneyland Hotel or the Grand Californian. This includes early entry into the theme parks, allowing on-site guests to enter the parks 30 minutes before their official opening.
