Lion Spirits was founded in 2000 as a pure absinthe online shop. That this has evolved is in the nature of things, but of course our heart still beats for absinthe and we can justifiably claim to be one of the absinthe experts in the world. We were the first to bring Kübler absinthe to Germany, it was also us who introduced products from the Distillerie Armand Guy and the Distillerie les Fils d'Emile Pernot, as well as Devoille, Lemercier, and Combier or Jade Absinthe. With Oliver Matter we started developing the Absinthe Duplais series right after absinthe was legalized in Switzerland (2005). Distillates are only as good as their ingredients. The manufacturing processes are different, but the excellent quality of the gourmet spirits available from us always comes first. Choose, for example, a fruity fruit brandy made from single-variety and fully ripe fruit by distilleries such as Faude Feine Brande or Martin Zufanek, or a spicy herbal distillate. The latter are created by maceration and distillation. Herbs are first placed in fine alcohol to extract their aromas.
